...E is for Eurotrash, who are to be seen everywhere except at the movies. Big hair, trashy jewellery, appalling fashion sense - and that's just the men....

Funny, I haven't heard that word since the 1980s, when actually a whole lot of people were doing the big-hair thing. But back then it seemed to mean students who took junior years in France, wore a lot of black, worshipped Derrida, and smoked Galoises. Is this not the conventional meaning?

Amongst other things, it's the name of a popular Channel 4 show which, the last time I saw it (November), had gotten a lot ruder than it was before.
