Merry Merry

In the immortal words of Kinky Friedman, "may the god of your choice bless you." Or anyway may you take a good walk in some nice chilly weather, eat too much, and see lots of family and friends.

Thank you.

We had lovely weather in Texas this year — up around seventy, with just enough chill in the air to remind you it's December. What with the new baby and all, we skipped the usual carol-singing drive through the neighborhood with the luminarias, but I did spend part of Christmas morning walking down the streets with my sister-in-law, waving at people out in their yards with new golf clubs, scooters, or four-wheelers.

Sounds lovely. We're on a round of family visits, spent a few days in New York, & came back to my mother's house to find a late holiday package containing 392 more mouse skates than ordered, so we're just back from mailing the returned-merchandise package. Raining and warmish in New England. No skiing, boo hoo, only the mice get to skate here.
